DEATH OF HENRY REIZEL

Henry Reizel, one of the oldest citizens of the community, died on Christmas day at the home of his son-in-law Peter Goeden, proprietor of the Neillsville Hotel. Deceased was born at Byrne, Germany, Aug. 15, 1824. He came to America in 1850, settling in Pottsville, Pa., where he married and lived about twenty years. He then moved with his family to Arcadia, Wis., living there about fifteen years and twenty-four years ago moved to Neillsville, Clark County. His wife died on Christmas day just thirty two years ago. Mr. Reizel followed the trade of stone mason. He was an excellent workman, reliable in every way, an honest straight forward, good citizen. He leaves three children, a son Jos. Reizel, living in this city, Mrs. Parick Kelley of Pine Valley and Mrs. Peter Goeden, also living in Neillsville. He leaves also nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral took place Monday at the Catholic Church, of which deceased was a devout member. (Rep. Press)
