Kowalczyk, Leo (1915 - 1999)

Leo S. Kowalczyk, 84, of Brookfield, IL, formerly of Lublin, died July 1, 1999 in his home.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 a.m., July 6, 1999 at St. Barbara Church, Brookfield, IL. Internment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Visitation was on July 5 at the Johnson Funeral Home, Brookfield, IL.
Leo was born in Montana later lived in the Lublin area. He was supervisor at H. Kramer Foundry Co. for 37 years. He enjoyed collecting various items and helping his neighbors.

Survivors include one son, Peter: three daughters: Shirly Jones, Ruth Heylek and Mary Ender two sisters: Victoria Koperski, Florida, and Adeline Liszewski, Lublin four brothers: Allen and Edward, both of Gilman and Roman and Casimir four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
