ROBERT JACKSON


Robert Jackson, 83, Greenwood, Clark County, died Thursday, May 11, 1989 at Neillsville Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 13, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Rev. Richard Sorenson officiated the service with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery. His grandsons served as pallbearers.


Robert Jackson was born April 18, 1906 in Iowa to Guy and Martha (Tague) Jackson. He received his education through the eighth grade in Iowa. On Sept. 24, 1927 in Catawba, Wis. he married Genevieve Hanson. They farmed south of Neillsville and north of Greenwood in the town of Warner until 1952. He then worked for Wuethrich's Creamery until he retired in 1968. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.


Surviving him include one son, Wayne Jackson, Loyal three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Eula) Franz, Elk Mound Mrs. Roger (Yvonne) Kirn, Willard Mrs. Jerry (Marilyn) Auman, Willard fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.


Preceding him in death were his parents and in 1983, his wife.


Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
