LAWRENCE C. NEUMAN DIES AT UNITY


Lawrence C. Neuman, age 72, of Route 1, Unity, died at his home on Sunday, Nov. 23, 1975. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (today) Nov. 26 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Riplinger, with the Rev. David J. Ault officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery at Riplinger. Lulloff Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Mr. Neuman was born Feb. 14, 1903 in the Town of Green Grove to the late Arthur and Fredricka (Augustin) Neuman. He married the former Gertrude Roohr on June 26, 1929 in the Town of Beaver, Clark County. She preceded him in death on May 5, 1973. He farmed and was a retired foreman from the Soo Line Railroad. He was treasurer and clerk of the Sunshine and Soo Grove School. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Riplinger.


The following survive him two sons, Duane W. Neuman, Unity, Glendon Neuman, McHenry, Ill. two daughters, Mrs. Gary (Lavonne) Levenhagen, Tooele, Utah Mrs. Daniel (Joel) Elmhorst, Neillsville two brothers, Ralph and Bernhard Neuman.
