EUNICE LA FLEUR

Mrs. Eunice La Fleur died at her home in the Town of Weston, May 11, 1908. She was born in Essex County, N.Y., in 1834, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon B. Hewett. She was married to Cyuril P. La Fleur in June 1852. In 1869 they came west, living in Neillsville one year and at Hewettville five years, after which they moved to the farm in Weston. Her husband died March 31, 1907. She leaves two sons, Geo. La Fleur, who lives in Orengon, and will La Fleur, who remains at home on the old farm and two daughters, Ella, Wife of John Clark of Woodburn, Ore., and Alice, Mrs. Eugene Mack of Minneapolis. Two sisters also survive her, Mrs. Jane Gates and Mrs. S. R. Miner of this city. She was a woman of the good pioneer type, devoted to home and family, who in their turn gave her the tenderest care in her declining years. The funeral was held at Christie on Wednesday.
