JACOB DEMOUTH


Jacob Demouth died at his home in Christie, Clark County, Thursday, Sept. 7th, 1905, after an illness of about three months. He was nearly 71 years old, being a resident of Clark Co. for 35 years. He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. C. Nutting of Loyal and three sons, Don Living at home and Johan and Sam, both of Etna Mills, Calif., besides a host of friends to mourn his loss. He was a man who will be missed by all. The funeral was held at the home Sept. 9. Rev. Presnel of Greenwood delivered the funeral sermon, interment taking place at the Christie Cemetery.
