Tioga (25 Feb 1915)

A peddler went through here Tuesday and it is reported he got pretty familiar in one place where he stopped. At any rate some of the men got out to hunt him up that night, but they failed to find him. The next morning it was reported that he stayed with one of the families at the hotel. Word was sent to the party who wanted him and as we hear it, the peddler was given just fifteen minutes to get out of the hotel and off the grounds, and when he went, he carried away a pretty bad looking face. It is safe to say he will not try a thing like that in Tioga again.

We were wrongly informed concerning the date of the play which will be given at the school house on March 8th instead of the 4th. The name of the play if Diamonds and Hearts.

Harold McCune is very busy hauling wood to the station, but why does it take him so long to unload?
