Lamovex, Judith (Apr 1961)

The bride of Richard L. Bauer is the former Judith Mae Lamovec of Willard. The young couple exchanged wedding vows during a double ring ceremony at the Holy Family Church at Willard Saturday. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bauer and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lamovec.

Father Aloysius Madic officiated at the Nuptial High Mass, which was sung by Mrs. Jerry Baird of Wisconsin Rapids. She also sang, “Ave Maria” and “Mother at Your Feet I’m Kneeling.”

Miss Lamovec in approaching the altar on the arm of her father wore a gown of Chantilly Lace over bridal bouquet taffeta styled with a chapel length bridal train, a scalloped sabrina neckline trimmed with sequins and seed pearls with long traditional tapered sleeves. The billowing skirt had alternate rows of lace and pleated tulle complimented by a lace overskirt trimmed with sequins which extended into the chapel length train. A princess crown of seed pearls and crystals held her silk illusion fingertip veil. She held a white orchid.

Attending the bride was her cousin, Patricia Gorgorenc from Sheboygan and bridesmaids were Phyllis Lamovec of Greenwood (some text missing from printout) in of Spencer served as best man and groomsmen were Roger Bender and Melvin Ayers of Loyal. Seating the guests were Jerry Lamovec the bride’s brother and Tommy Braun of Loyal.

Mrs. Lamovec saw her daughter’s wedding in a beige silk dress with light green accessories and the groom’s mother wore a green dress with beige accessories. Each were presented with a corsage of white and yellow carnations.

Following the ceremony a dinner and reception were held in the church dining hall. Supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents and a dance was given in their honor at the Silver Dome Ballroom.

The new Mrs. Bauer is a graduate of Greenwood High School and her husband was graduated from Loyal High School. She had been employed at Weyerhauser Company, Roddis Division at Marshfield ans he is employed at the John Wuethrich Creamery Company at Greenwood.

After a honeymoon trip the newlyweds will make their home in Loyal.
