Mrs. Chas. Fenske and Mrs. Harold Hiles of Chili came over Saturday and visited at C.C. Berg’s until Tuesday.

Mrs. Otto Yordi is enjoying a visit from her little brother and a married sister who came up from Clintonville on Tuesday.

This community as greatly shocked last Saturday morning upon learning of the sudden and to us wholly unexpected death of our friend and neighbor, Mrs. Eugene Osgood, who although not a member of our Good Cheer Birthday Club, was always a most welcome visitor at any of the meetings that her time and health permitted her to attend.

Maude Smithw as ill and absent from school several days this week with La Grippe.

Mrs. Joel Downer spent much of last week at the Eugene Osgood home assisting in the care of her sister-in-law, the late Mrs. Eugene Osgood.

Myrle Lee was three hours in treading snow between here and his studies at the Granton school on Monday.

Carrol Davis, enroute to school on horseback last Monday got as far as Bart Wells’ and had to give it up, putting her horse in the Gus Bergeman barn.  She waited until noon when the roads were sufficiently opened to allow her to continue on to school.

Miss Wilke, our teacher, attended the institute at Neillsville last Friday and Saturday and was snow bound at her brother Charles’ at Granton Monday.  So we had not school that day.
