Wednesday and Saturday are still grinding days at the elevator.

Connors have made arrangements to buy A.W. Wendorf’s house and H. Degener’s lime house and machinery shed in case the company can get the lease for the balance of the railroad right of way east from the elevator to the road.

A.W. Wendorf bought a lot of Fred Selk to move his house and garage onto it.

Ernest Neinas bought two lots of H. Koser, north of L.A. Reichert’s store.  He will build a house on same this summer.  Last week he had a sand bee and got quite a pile of sand to begin with.

Mr. Butler was in Chili last week and this week on business in connection with the Connor Lumber Yard.

The ice houses are being filled with good looking ice this year.

Henry Kleinschmidt is making his annual visit to Chili and Lynn friends and relatives.

P.J. Kemmeter is buying bolts at the landing this year.  He was here Tuesday making arrangements for that purpose.

Sherman Davis returned from Rochester, Minn. about two weeks ago, greatly improved in health and very enthusiastic over the result.

The Crandall Orchestra will give a mask ball here Saturday, Jan. 27.  Remember the date.
