Finder, Cecelia Emma (2 May 1897 - 22 November 1965)

 

Cecelia Emma Finder, 68, of Neillsville died Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.  Funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville, with the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating.  Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Cecelia Finder was born May 2, 1897, in Dane County, daughter of the late Louie and Cecelia (Kanzanbach) Finder.  Her family moved to Clark County in 1900, locating in the Town of Weston, where she attended rural schools.  She moved to Neillsville about 35 years ago. She did restaurant work most of her lifetime.

 

She is survived by a son, Walter, of Neillsville; and a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Mabel) Kozlowski of Neillsville. Other survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Meske and Bertha Finder of Neillsville; and a brother, August Finder of Neillsville; also surviving are five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Georgas Funeral Home.
