Froeba, Marceil Clara (19 Sept 1959)

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal was the scene of the wedding of Miss Marceil Clara Froeba and Lynn Wilbur Russell, both of Loyal, route 1, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.

Father Norbert E. King was officiating clergyman.  Sister Vera Marie was organist.

The bride’s floor length gown of net over taffeta was fashioned with a front panel of embroidered lace with net ruffles, extending to the floor.  The bodice was nylon embroidered lace with a Sabrina neckline and long pointed sleeves.  A pearl headpiece held her finger tip veil and she carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

Mrs. Thomas Froeba, Loyal, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor.  Her floor length gown of orchid was styled with a lace bodice and skirt of net ruffles over taffeta.  She carried orchid and white gardenias.  Mr. Thomas Froeba, brother of the bride, was best man.

Flower girls were Sandra Froeba, sister of the bride and Shelly Uhlig, niece of the bride.  Gary Grambort, nephew of the bride was ring bearer.

A reception, dinner and supper were held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Froeba.  Mrs. Froeba wore a blue dress with red accessories and a corsage of red and white gardenias.

The bride attended Loyal schools and the groom attended schools at Spirit Lake.

He is employed by Plautz Brothers at Willard.  The couple will make their home at Greenwood, route 1.

Guests from Loyal, Wausau, Marshfield, Abbotsford and Racine attended the wedding.
