Humbird (21 October 1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sheffer and children of La Crosse visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Sheffer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cullen Dignin were in Eau Claire Monday and called at the Roy Hart home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett, with Mrs. Hazel Dunn and Don of Black River Falls, enjoyed a few days’ fishing at Fifield last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tande of Alma Center spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Emma Gerber.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Will Hein drove to Neillsville Saturday and brought her sister, Mrs. Cora Stanley home with them to stay until Monday, when they took her back to Memorial Home.

 

Mrs. Fred Theiler and children went to Appleton Tuesday for a few days’ visit at the Willis Johnson home. Friday evening, Mr. Theiler and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Polege drove to Appleton to remain at the Johnson home until Sunday afternoon, when they all came home.

 

Mrs. Raymond Stuve and Mrs. Melvin Markham attended the funeral of Mrs. Emma Stoddard in Fairchild Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Ralph Walker officiated.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Matti spent Sunday at the Claire Enerson home in North Branch.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Staves of Eau Claire were overnight guests Saturday of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Staves.

 

Fred Klatt of Osseo was here Wednesday evening to see his mother, Mrs. Anna Klatt.

 

Miss Cheryl Burkhalter of La Crosse spent the weekend with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Olson.
