Granton (2 September 1965)

 

Mrs. Ralph Carell of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her father, Louie Elmhorst. Other weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. Byrl Rowe and family of Owen.

 

Mrs. Grace Rounds and daughter, Jean, of Rockford, Ill., were weekend guests of their daughter and sister, Mrs. Leland Garbisch, and her family.  Other weekend guests were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mund, also of Rockford.

 

The Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church met Wednesday in the church.  Hostesses were Mrs. Otto Sternitzky, Mrs. Walter Trachte and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger.  Officers elected at the meeting will be announced next week.

 

The Granton Homemaker club will meet September 9 at the home of Mrs. Arnold Garbisch.

 

The Women’s Society of Christian Service of the Granton Methodist Church will meet this (Thursday) afternoon at the home of Mrs. Bernard Pietenpol.  Hostesses will be Dorothy Gardner and Ruby Anthony. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pietenpol visited their daughter, Nancy, in Stevens Point Sunday.

 

Fidelity Camp, Royal Neighbors, met last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Ella Eibergen.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Bayer and her mother, Mrs. Joe Madler, of Evergreen Park, Ill., were weekend house guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke.  Saturday they attended the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rand in Chili.
