Boon, Gladys Marie (21 June 1923 - 31 August 1965)

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home for Miss Gladys Marie Boon, 42, of Waukegan, Ill., who died there Tuesday.

The Rev. Carl Booher of the Greenwood Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Miss Boon was born June 21, 1923, in Clark County and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Boon of Rt. 1, Greenwood.  She attended rural school in Clark County and was a 1939 graduate of Neillsville High School. She had spent the last 10 years working in Chicago, Ill.  She had been in failing health for the last five years.

Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Boon of Greenwood; a sister, Mrs. Franklin (Bernice) Zickert of Rt. 3 Neillsville; and a brother, Merrill Boon, of Waukegan, Ill.
