YOUNG COUPLE MARRIED FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21

At 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, Feb. 21, 1941, at the Lutheran parsonage in the town of Brighton, Miss Loretta Foss became the bride of William Stargardt.  The former is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Foss, town of Brighton, and the latter is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stargardt of Spencer.  The Rev. A. C. Stapel officiated at the rites.

The bride wore a blue suit with a white blouse and navy blue accessories, and her flowers were pink and white carnations worn as a shoulder corsage.  Miss Paulena Stargardt, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, dressed in a black jacket-dress with a blue blouse and blue accessories.  Arnold Margelowsky, cousin of the bride, was best man.  Immediately after the ceremony the couple left on a short trip to the southern part of the state.  Upon their return they will reside on a farm near Stratford.  Mrs. Stargardt has been employed in Marshfield the past year.
