Welbourne, Judith L. (7 SEP 1963)

 

Miss Judith Lynn Welbourne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.R. Welbourne, 4 Boulevard Road, and Alexander Pabich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pabich of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were married Saturday, Sept. 7th, 1963, in an impressive ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alexius Catholic Church in Addison, Ill.

 

The Rev. Patrick Muldoon, pastor, received the vows in the double ring ceremony.

 

Mrs. Charles Hobrock was organist.  Mrs. Wesley Deming, soloist, sang "Ave Maria" and "The Lord’s Prayer."

 

Altar vases held white chrysanthemums.  White satin bows were at pews along the bridal aisle.

 

Mrs. Don Welbourne of Pittsfield, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor.  Mrs. Gaylon Rush of Addison, Ill., Mrs. James Hollman of Abbotsford, Wis., sister of the groom, and Miss Nancy Hegener of Chicago were bridesmaids.

 

Christine Kapustanczek of Milwaukee, Wis., niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl, and Michael Welbourne of Pittsfield, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

 

Edward Pabich of Chicago, brother of the groom, was best man.

 

Ushers were Don Welbourne of Pittsfield, brother of the bride; James Hollman of Abbotsford, Wis., and Steve Smign of Bellwood, Ill.

 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in an ivory silk peau sheath with embroidered Alencon lace and detachable train with bands of Alencon lace the length of the train.

 

Her veil of silk illusion was held in place with a cap of silk peau accented with seed pearls.  She carried a cascade arrangement of Fuji mums, stephanotis and ivy.

 

Her attendants were tarragon green silk linen sheaths with detachable overskirts and matching veils and shoes.  Their bouquets were cascade arrangements of yellow daisy mums and ivy.

 

The flower girl wore a full length yellow organza over taffeta gown and a headpiece of yellow mums.  She carried a nosegay bouquet of tiny yellow mums.

 

The ring bearer wore a white suit with yellow mum boutonniere.

 

Immediately after the ceremony a reception and wedding luncheon were held at the Virginia Country Club.

 

Mrs. Robert Miller of Decatur, Ill., cousin of the bride, cut and served the wedding cake.  Mrs. Robert Ramsey of Illiopolis had charge of the guest book and served coffee.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Pabich left on a wedding trip to Acapulco, Mexico.  On their return they will reside at 224 Michael Lane, Addison, Ill.
