Washburn (3 June 1965)

 

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. George Reinart of Tomah May 24 at a Tomah hospital.  They have one other daughter.

 

Mrs. Elmer Kapfer underwent surgery on her hands Friday at a Marshfield hospital. She returned home Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Stewart and family and his mother, Mrs. Frank Stewart, left Friday on a two-week trip.  They first went to Sault Ste Marie, Canada, then to Montreal and Quebec, Canada, Maine and several eastern states.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kapfer and sons, Garry and jack, and daughter, Jerri, of Janesville, spent Memorial weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Krause and daughter, Cheryl, of Menomonee Falls, spent Memorial weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Stevens and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krause.

 

Mrs. Chris Feutz attended the graduation of her granddaughter, Mariann Feutz, from Stevens Point State University, and the graduation of her grandson, Ronie, from Wisconsin Rapids High School, Sunday.  Her son, Lynn, drove here for her and brought her home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bell of Janesville spent Memorial weekend with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short.  Mrs. Frank Short was a Sunday dinner guest at the Short home also.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis of Waukesha spent Memorial weekend and until Friday with her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz. They also visited friends.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Anderson and family of Kenosha spent Memorial weekend at the Ragnar and Robert Mortenson homes.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Wallace and Mildred Drew of Milwaukee spent Memorial weekend with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reinart.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Irving Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Bell, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short and Mrs. Frank Short called at the Floyd Wall home Sunday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Ed Short spent several days with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kuhn, assisting with housecleaning.  Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kuhn and sons were Sunday dinner guests at the Kuhn home in honor of Ernest’s birthday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Taylor and daughters of Black River Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Karl of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Havlicek picnicked at Sherwood Park.
