Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal was the setting of the wedding Saturday of Miss Beatrice Ellen Ellison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ellison of Loyal, and Leon Schefus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schefus of Loyal.

 

The 1 p.m. nuptial rites were read by the Rev. John Pfohl.

 

The bride chose for her wedding dress a gown of net over taffeta. The bodice of the full skirted gown was styled with a rounded neckline and long lace sleeves and trimmed with pearls and sequins. She wore a finger-tip veil and carried red roses and white gardenias.

 

Her attendants wore floor length gowns of net over taffeta. The maid of honor, Miss Phyllis Ellison, sister of the bride, wore mint green and the bridesmaids, Miss Barbara Schefus, sister og the groom, wore light orchid, and Mrs. Bob Gennerman, cousin of the bride, wore yellow. Their flowers were carnations and matched the gowns in color.

 

Dale Wehreman, came from Milwaukee to serve his friend as best man. Thomas Ellison, Oconomowoc, cousin of the bride, and Roger Ellison, brother of the bride were groomsmen.

 

John Stumpner, Milwaukee, and Dale Fravert, cousin of the groom, seated the guests.

 

Darlene Margelosky was flower girl and hertwin brother David Margelosky was ring bearer. They are from Juneau and are coudins of the bride.

 

A reception at the home of the bride’s parents from 2 to 4 followed the church service. At 4 p.m. dinner was served in the church parlor and a dance was given at the Silver Dome.

 

Both bride and groom are graduates of the L9yal High School. Jan. 3, 1958, the groom completed four years of duty with the Air Force in Honolulu, and Hawaii.

 

The bride returned to Wisconsin in March, 1958 after working for three years in Los Angeles, Calif.

 

After a honeymoon in Northern Wisconsin the new Mr. and mrs. Schefus will live in Milwaukee.

 

Guests came from Lisbon, Ohio, Hobart, Ind.; Fairfax, Minn.; Oconomowoc, Hartford, Milwaukee, Juneau, Madison, Ashippun, Unity, Spencer, Marshfield, Loyal, Greenwood, Lublin, Tomahawk, Waukesha, and Pewaukee.
