NEW BELL IN PLACE.

The new bell for the Reformed church was raised to its place in the
belfry Thursday afternoon and peeled forth its notes for the first
time. In accordance with an established custom the bell was
garnished with a beautiful wreath before being raised to its
standards. The bell is 44 inches in diameter and weighs complete
over 1900 pounds.
