A large share of the male population are deer hunting this week, Noble Downer, Hugh Converse, Clarence Salisbury, Floyd Pietenpol, G. Johnson, Frank Jahr, Ara Lee, Albert Gardner, Fergie Richter.

 

Miss Mariah Davis spent Monday night of last week at Lue Smith’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Lee and Mrs. H. Erwin took dinner Sunday at E. Lee’s.

 

Miss Davis gave an exhibition of the work of her pupils and a memory gem contest last Friday.  Myrle Lee won the prize in the contest.

 

Little Frances Handke was taken alarmingly ill last Friday with convulsions but is convalescing under the care of Dr. Ross.

 

The Mesdames H.E. Williams, Oscar Doughty and Willis Williams spent Sunday with their sister Mrs. Amelia converse.

 

Miss Beatrice Pietenpol has been quite sick with measles but is recovering.

 

Dora Johnson stayed Tuesday night with Maude Smith.

 

Mrs. T.F. Lee, Mrs. Ara and Ernest Lee attended the R.N.A. at Chili, where their lodge entertained the Neillsville Lodge on Wednesday.

 

We have read this over and had each member of the family and some of the neighbors, so if there are any mistakes this week we know it is the Editor’s.
