Hagberg, Anna O. (15 NOV 1885 - APR 1963)

 

Mrs. Anna Olivia Hagberg, 77, of 203 5th Ave., Moline, died in Lutheran Hospital there after an extended illness.

 

Mrs. Hagberg, the former Ann Olivia Thornbloom, was born Nov. 15, 1885, in Varmland, Sweden, and came to this country in 1890.  She was the daughter of Fred and Anna Thornbloom.  She resided in Wisconsin for 30 years before moving to Moline in 1938.

 

She operated the Eagle Lunch Room in Moline for 15 years.

 

On July 5, 1908 she was married to Claus Hagberg, and he died in 1932.  She was a member of the Women of Moose and was Lutheran by faith.

 

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Laura Bell, Moline; five sons, Harlan and Engner, both of Davenport; Clifford, Raymond and Edwin, all of Moline; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Otis Christian, Long Lake, Minn.
