Westhoff, Magdalina (06 June 1959)

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church was the scene of the wedding of Miss Magdalene Westhoff, Loyal, route 1, and Robert Hall, Chicago, Ill., on Saturday June 6.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Westhoff, Sr. route 1, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hall, Chicago.

The Rev. Norbert King officiated and music was by the school choir.

For her wedding dress the bride chose a floor length gown of French imported lace over taffeta featuring long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline outlined with pearls.  Her fingertip veil of nylon tulle was caught to a pearl trimmed, cap style, head piece of satin.  Her bouquet was an arrangement of red roses and white flowers.

Mrs. Jack Rohs of Palatine, Ill., was her sister’s matron of honor and the groom’s sister, Mrs. Chester Buckowicz of Chicago attended as bridesmaids.  Both wore street length gowns of rose pink chiffon over taffeta and carried pink and white carnations.

Chester Buckowicz, Chicago, was best man and Walter Westhoff, Jr., of Gurnell, Ill. Was groomsman.  Thomas Annen ushered.

The wedding dinner was served at St. Anthony’s hall and a reception and supper were given at the bride’s home.

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School.  The groom received his education in Chicago schools.  Both are employed in Chicago.

A beige gown with jacket and matching accessories was worn by the bride’s mother and the groom’s mother wore a navy blue gown with white accessories.

When the couple return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, they will make their home at 1465 Sedgewick, Chicago, Ill.

Miller, Clearwater, Fla.; Mr. and Mrs. Bill Miller, Stratford: Mr. and Mrs. Don Schley and Mrs. Alex Mrotek, Owen;  Mr. and Mrs. Ted Abel and Janice and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Kmiec and family, Greenwood; Mrs. Elroy Tapper and family, Wausau; Miss Gloria Testa, St. Paul; and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schefus and Barbara, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Buker, Mr. and Mrs. Ray McNeely and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pernsteiner, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. William Annen and family, Mrs. Carl Saltow, Sr., and George; Mrs. Anna Duell, and Mr. and Mrs. William Theisen, Sr. all of Loyal.
