Blunck, Lois (Marriage - 19 September 1964)

The Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Lois Blunck of Withee and Irving Timmler of Greenwood.  Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler.

Approaching the altar with her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of Chantilly lace, the full bouffant skirt of which was styled with tiers of nylon lace accented by sequins.  It also featured a removable peplum overskirt, styled with a scalloped hemline.  Long, tapered sleeves and a Sabrina neckline accented the fitted Basque bodice.   A crown of pearlized blossoms held the bouffant veil of illusion.  She carried a cascade arrangement of yellow gladioli.

Bouquets of white gladioli graced the altar as the Rev. Beryl Knudsen performed the double ring ceremony, witnessed by 300 guests.

Miss Nancy Williams of Withee was maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Patricia Stewart of Withee and Caroline Geisler of Owen.

Robert Timmler of Milwaukee was his brother’s best man.  Larry Dallman and Clayton Braun of Greenwood were groomsmen.  Ushers were Pat Leahy of Withee and James Coakley of New York.

Tommy Lindner of Loyal, a nephew of the groom, carried the rings on a white satin pillow.  LeAnn Bruchert of Withee, a niece of the bride, was flowergirl.

Wedding day events consisted of a reception at the home of the bride and a dance in the evening.

A 1961 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, the bride has been employed in a hospital in Eau Claire.  Mr. Timmler, a graduate of Greenwood High School, is attending a technical institute in Chicago, Ill, where they will reside on their return from a wedding trip into northern Wisconsin and Canada.
