Voight, Mr. and Mrs. Ed (Golden - 21 October 1964

 

Open House was held Sunday afternoon in the York town hall honoring Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voight on their golden wedding anniversary. The anniversary will occur October 21, but due to the fact that some of the children were not able to attend at that time, the observation was advanced.  Two hundred guests attended the open house. 

 

Ed Voight was born near Waupun, coming to Clark County in his early boyhood.  Mrs. Voight, the former Ida Vandeberg was born in the Town of York, where she has resided her entire lifetime.

 

The So and Sew Homemaker club served the wedding dinner, planned by Mrs. Eugene Haines, at the Voight home which was attended by immediate members of their family. Twenty-four guests, including the Voight’s children and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Maegdefessel and Lee Keller, attended the 7 p.m. supper at a Neillsville night club.

 

Attending the open house from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Voight and Wayne of San Diego, Cal.; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Voight and two daughters of Round lake, Ill. and their daughter, Mrs. Lynn Pacchinono of Hillside, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Haines (June Voight) and five children of Centerville, S. D.; Lyle Voight, who makes his home with his parents; Mr. and Mrs. George Weitzel of Downey, Cal.; Lee Keller of Los Angeles, Cal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schilling and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Voight of Fall Creek; Mrs. Grace Perso of Mukwonago; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Will of Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Murphy of Black River Falls; Mrs. Bertha Searles of Richland Center; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Dankemyer and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dankemyer of Chili; Mrs. Elmer Anderson and daughter, and Miss Carol Haines of Milwaukee.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Quicker of South Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Vandeberg, Mr. and Mrs. Byrl Lawrence and Mrs. Emil Arndt of Marshfield; Mrs. Art Anderson and two sons of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Grabe of Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Luchterhand and family of Spencer; Mrs. Merle Bushnell of Owen; the Rev. and Mrs. Paul Doering and three sons of Loyal.
