Will, Lana Mae (11 AUG 1962)

The altar of Holy Rosary Church in Owen was beautifully decorated with two bouquets of mixed flowers and one bouquet for the Blessed Virgin Altar of roses, when Miss Lana Mae Will, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Will of Owen became the bride of Joseph James Ciszewski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ciszewski of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) on Saturday, Aug. 11, 1962, at 10:00 o’clock in the morning.  The Rev. H. Crubel performed the nuptials after Mr. Will gave his daughter in marriage.

The bride wore a luxurious chapel length gown of Chantilly lace with a scalloped Sabrina neckline with long traditional tapered sleeves which accented the fitted Basque.  The bouffant skirt was fashioned with a low peplum over alternate tiers of pleated gossamer sheer tulle and lace.  A princess crown of pearls highlighted by pearl drops and rhinestones held her silk illusion fingertip veil.  The cascade bouquet was centered with a lvender orchid, outlined with stephanotis and yellow feathered carnations and edged with a white satin ribbon.

Miss giner Will attended her sister as maid of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Rose Horhan of Chicago and Mrs. Charlotte Rineck of Chippewa Falls.  Miss Judy Kivikko of Curtiss and Mrs. Delores Lobacz of Fort Wayne, Ind.

The five bridesmaids wore ballerina length gowns designed identically in pastel colors of maize, mint green, orchid, powder blue and pink, in a sway-gay taffeta with lace yoke and short sleeves.  The taffeta skirts has a side draping and triple bows.  Their dainty floral bridesmaid’s hats with short circular veils matched their gowns.  They carried colonial bouquets of mixed color pompons.

Little Dianne Lobacz served as flower girl and Donald Lobacz the ring bearer.

Attending the groom as best man was Stanley Ciszewski of Chicago, with groomsmen Bernard Ciszewski of Chicago, Jack Rineck of Chippewa Falls, John Gehrkeof of Minneapolis, Richard Keller of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Serving as ushers were Larry Dallman of Greenwood and Roger Lesneski of Withee.

A wedding breakfast was served at the Woodland Hotel immediately following the ceremony, with a reception in the afternoon at the Colby Hotel at Colby, and a dance at the American Legion Hall in Owen that evening.

The bride is a graduate of the Owen-Withee Schools and attended St. Theresa’s College at Winona, Minn., and is now employed by her father at the Will Implement Co.

The groom is a graduate of the Owen-Withee High School and attended Whitewater State College in Whitewater.  He is employed at the Will Implement Co. in Owen.

After a wedding trip the newlyweds will reside in Owen.
