Loyal (9 July 1964)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elden Catlin and two daughters of Richland Center, were weekend guests of his mother, Mrs. Ann Catlin of Loyal.  Their daughter, Paula, remained to spend a week with her grandmother.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Essendrop of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Margaret Westphal of Eau Claire, were recent dinner guests of the Elmer Neuman home in Loyal.

 

Mrs. Philip Onge, the former Jennie Bertz, and her four children of Orlando, Fla., are visiting for two weeks with her mother, Mrs. Florence Bertz.

 

Miss Karen Nystad of San Jose, Cal., arrived by plane recently for a two-week visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Nystad of Loyal.

 

Mrs. Florence Bertz and daughter of Loyal accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bertz and family of Neillsville to Milwaukee recently for a visit at the Joseph Carpenter home.

 

Harley Kauffman of Flagstaff, Ariz., left July 2 after spending several days with his brother, Vern Kauffman of Loyal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wilson of Beirna, Ark., and Mrs. Paul Hall and son of Kenset, Ia., spent a recent week at the Delton Jolivette home in Loyal.

 

Mrs. Emma Hium accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Chet Nirva of Greenwood to Charlotte, N. C., recently, where they were guests of Mrs. Hium’s sister, Mrs. Pauline Bellamy.  The group also visited relatives’ enroute there.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nichols have returned to Chicago after spending several days with her mother, Mrs. Olaf Johnson in Greenwood.

 

Mrs. William Steiger has returned home from an extended visit with her son-in-law and daughter in Spring Valley.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Don Warner have returned to Greenwood from Minot AFB, N.D., where they visited Capt and Mrs. Tom Larson.  They were accompanied there by the Larsons’ four children, who had spent some time with their grandparents.
