Spry, Lloyd L. (? - 18 June 1964)

 

Funeral services were conducted June 22 for Lloyd L. Spry, 65, of Granton, who died June 18, in a Marshfield hospital. The Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated at services from the Granton Methodist Church. 

 

Pallbearers were: William Schmidtke, David Lavey, Harry Zaleski, Durward Schwarze, Wilbert Goebel and Walter Trimberger.  Honorary pallbearers were members of the Future Farmers Chapter, in which Mr. Spry had been interested. They were: Francis Steiner, Larry Thiede, Leonard Thiede, Jr., and Harry Vanderwyst.

 

"Going Down the Valley" and "The Old Rugged Cross" were sung by Warren Heyne of St. Paul, Minn., accompanied at the organ by Jack Bursinger of St. Paul.

 

Out of town people attending the funeral were: Mrs. W. E. Jaenicke and Mrs. Alvin Jaenicke of Kankakee, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Otis Tucker of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Phelps Spry and Janet, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Helm, and Don Spry of Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Ward Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Foster, Mr. and Mrs. Gil Bursinger, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bursinger, Mrs. John Markham and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Heyne, all of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Lowell Spry, and Mrs. Jack Crisman of Lansing, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Deets of Bloom City; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Spry of La Farge; Mrs. Leo Osborn of Elroy; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jeivel of Mauston; Russell Spry of Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Lena Beaty of Madison; Mrs. Austin Anderson and Mrs. Al Westphal of Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hackbarth of Wautoma; Mrs. Chester Spry of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stanek and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Huffman of Neillsville.

 

Mr. Spry’s six daughters and their families were here for the service. A son, Robert Spry, resides in Granton.
