Mr. and Mrs. Price Lee and family of Granton spent Sunday with Ell Lee and wife.

 

Isaac Rogers is laying the cellar wall for Gordon Davis’ new house this week.

 

Several Heathvillites attended the ball game at Chili Sunday.

 

Miss Pearle Brown of Veefkind is assisting Mrs. G. Davis with her household duties.

 

Della Knoll and Flossie Davis helped Elda Happe celebrate her 13th birthday Thursday afternoon.

 

Rueben Fields made his usual trip to Lindsey on Sunday.

 

Mrs. A. Heath and Mrs. J. Graham drove to Loyal on Thursday.

 

Mr. A. Peck is building a house for John Eibergen.

 

Jake Henning took the Schmidtke and Madler families to Auburndale Sunday evening in his auto.

 

Mr. Webb Winn of Granton was a caller on our streets Tuesday.

 

Delbert Latamore and wife went blackberry picking Tuesday.

 

Sherman Davis purchased a new mil wagon at Granton on Saturday.

 

The carpenters will begin work for Gordon Davis next week.

 

Louis Rach came home last Friday from Holstein whither he was called by the illness of his mother.

 

James Scoles sawed lumber for a barn last week.

 

Jap Spry is sawing lumber for a new house.

 

J. Mosher of Richland Center is visiting at Grant Snyder’s since last Monday.  Mr. Mosher may purchase a farm and locate here permanently.

 

Mrs. Frank Davis of Granton called on Mrs. Patno last Friday morning.

 

Frank Zorn is painting Zielsdorf’s new house.

 

Mrs. John Patno and grandson Harvey Spry drove down and called on Granton friends Monday.

 

Mrs. Frank Davis and Mrs. F.J. Baer of Granton autoed up and spent last Friday at the Atela Leatherdale home.  The three ladies were schoolmates in their days at the Neillsville High School.

 

Wm. Zorn and family autoed to Granton in their big Moline car last Friday and experienced two blowouts through tire trouble on the round trip.
