Now at Home on Loyal route 1, are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Joseph Cammers, who were married during the a 9 o’clock service Saturday morning in Corpus Christie Catholic Church, Bakerville, by the Rev. Garlan Muller.

 

When the bride, the former Darlene Moen, approached the altar on the arm of her father, she was attired in a gown featuring a Rosepoint lace bodice and a skirt detailed with panel inserts. Tiers of lace and illusion accented the gown’s back. Completing her ensemble were a finger-tip veil and a cascade arrangement of red roses and white carnations.

 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Magnus Moen, route 5, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cammers, route 1, Loyal.

 

Alternating tiers of lace and tulle the skirt of the shrimp-colored frock donned by Ruth Ann Moen, Route 5, Marshfield, in her role as maid of honor for her sister. She carried a colonial bouquet of yellow roses and pompoms. Similarly in a cotillion blue outfit and carrying a similar bouquet was the bridesmaid, Miss Rita Brost, route 3, Marshfield.

 

Clarence Hoesley, Loyal, was invited to be best man and James Weymiller, Granron was groomsman. Two brothers of the bride, Kennth and Robert Moen, were ushers.

 

In her role as flower girl at her sister’s wedding was Linda Lou Moen. Tiny satin bows trimmed her white taffeta dress with a net overskirt. Her bouquet was a miniature replica of the bride’s. She was escorted by her brother, Michael, as ring bearer.

 

Before leaving on their honeymoon, the newlyweds greeted guests at a reception in Our Lady of Peace Hall, which was also the setting dinner and supper.

 

Both are graduates of high schools, she of Columbus High School and he of Loyal High School. They are employed by the Roddis Plywood Corp.
