Dan Rausch and E.R. Wonser autoed out to Nonhof’s last Friday and took Al and family out for a ride.

 

Vera Beeckler closed a very successful term of school last week Thursday.  The picnic dinner had to be eaten in the schoolhouse on account of the rain Wednesday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Breese spent Sunday with Truman Davis and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Williams, Mr. E.R. Wonser and family were Sunday guests at Al Nonhof’s.

 

John Pietenpol, Frank Davis, J.M. Tompkins, with their families, drove to Heathville and enjoyed a picnic dinner in the woods.

 

Vera Beeckler’s scholars presented her with a half dozen sherbet dishes and a fancy cake plate.

 

Mrs. Truman Davis and mother spent Sunday afternoon at Wm. Anthony’s.

 

Mrs. J. Pietenpol visited at the W.E. Davis home Monday afternoon.

 

Miss Nellie Altenburg is assisting her aunt, Mrs. Temelling, with her house cleaning.

 

Lucille Davis went to Granton Monday and took her first music lesion from Myrtle Knorr.

 

Alfred Johnson began Tuesday to make cheese nights.  Only the nearest patrons are expected to come.

 

Henry Vanderweiss spent several days with his parents near Chili.

 

Dr. Schweinler of Neillsville was through here last week Thursday doing veterinary work.

 

A number of ladies dropped in on Mrs. Geo. Frei last Tuesday and surprised her on her 53rd birthday.

 

Mrs. Fred Foemmel and Mrs. Carl Roehl called on Mrs. Ackerman Monday afternoon.
