Chas Helm and brother Ben, after a several weeks visit with relatives, returned to their home in Milwaukee.

 

The Misses Etta and Emma Altenburg are the possessors of a fine driving horse shipped from the southern part of the state.

 

Aug. and Robert Teatz were called to Watertown in response to a message of the severe illness of their father who later died.

 

Chas. Bean of Stevens Point arrived Friday and is assisting in the O.W. Becker Creamery.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bower and family of Marshfield autoed over Sunday and visited with the E.F. Brooks family.

 

Mrs. R.C. Norman left Monday for Milwaukee.

 

Aug. Broker and family autoed over Sunday and were calling on the R.T. Washburn family.

 

Geo. Brooks transacted business at Neillsville Wednesday.

 

Leo and Esther Grassman were at Chili Tuesday.

 

Another Scholar, Mable Shier, has joined Miss Emma Altenburg’s music class.

 

Miss Hattie Viergutz came home from Milwaukee to spend the summer on the farm with her parents.

 

Max Opelt will give a picnic at the park Sunday, June 15th.

 

A large number from here attended the picnic at Fremont Sunday.

 

Mrs. F.J. Baer and Mrs. G.E. Amidon of Granton visited with Mrs. R.T. Washburn Friday afternoon.

 

A large number from here attended the dance at Chili Saturday evening.

 

Several from here attended the graduating exercises and class play at Neillsville last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ure and Miss Kate Servaty of Neillsville were visiting the John Ure and J. Martin families Sunday.

 

Joe Hoover of Wausau made a short visit at John Schafer’s last week.

 

The W.C. Beecher and Pietenpol families of Granton have visited the Wella Beecher family here the last week.

 

R.T. Washburn and daughter Hazel, Ernest Montag, and John Breseman autoed to Marshfield last Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Wiertz went to Neillsville Sunday.

 

E.F. Brooks and John Ure transacted business at Marshfield latter party of last week.

 

Miss Electa Brooks went to Neillsville Thursday to attend the graduating exercises.

 

Gustave Marg transacted business at Neillsville on Friday.
