Wm. Lawrence did some papering for Mrs. Sadie Rowe on Friday.

 

The Greenwood minister will occupy the M.E. pulpit next Sunday.

 

Lightning rods were erected on Dan Timerson’s house and on the York Center store last week.

 

Mrs. Edna Lawrence and Mrs. Lois Vande Berg drove down and spent one day last week with Horace Lawrence and family.

 

Fay Livingston and wife drove to Neillsville last Saturday and came home with some fine new furniture.

 

Mrs. Al Nonhof and son Glen, and Mrs. Temelling and daughter attended church here Sunday afternoon.

 

Walter Rowe and family, E.G. Rowe and family and A.P Fulwiler and family took supper at William Rowe’s Sunday night and helped Mr. Rowe celebrate his birthday.

 

Rev. Bender, the district Supt., will hold quarterly conference in the M.E. church this week Wednesday.

 

There was a shadow social at the brick schoolhouse near Jack Young’s Saturday night.

 

Grant Turner is working for Geo. Mortimer.

 

Ed Voight had some dental work done at Neillsville.

 

Wm. Turner did some plowing for Abe Turner one day last week.

 

Some of the young folks from this way attended the dance at Hein Friday night.

 

A few young folks of York enjoyed the Mother’s day program at the M.E. Church in Neillsville Sunday forenoon.
