Foemmel’s Corners (30 June 1911)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ninnaman stopped over a few days last week to spend their honeymoon with the bride’s brother Mr. Lammers.

 

Mrs. Breese and daughter Mrs. Truman Davis spent last week Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hayden.

 

Lydia Krause and Lucile Davis attended the picnic at Foemmel’s School last Friday.

 

Mrs. Nonhof spent Monday in helping Miss Ruth Pietenpol with her work.

 

Mrs. John Pietenpol although somewhat weak is steadily gaining.

 

Miss Louise Krause returned Wednesday from Rochester.

 

Mrs. Huff entertained the Mesdames Hugh Berg, James Finnegan and Louis Hayden at a dinner Sunday in honor of her birthday.

 

Mrs. Fradette is now ready to do sewing for anyone wishing it.

 

Mrs. Louis Hayden and children left Wednesday for a visit with her parents in Merrillan.

 

Wm. J. Davis, Arthur Lammers and Truman Davis had lightning rods put on their houses Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Truman Davis and children visited her mother Tuesday.

 

Mr. Lammers and family together with their guests took dinner at the Al Nonhof home Sunday.

 

Frank Davis, wife and daughters spend Sunday at John Pietenpol’s.

 

Dr. Abbot of Marshfield was called out to attend a horse for the land agents.

 

Editor Baer and sister-in-law autoed thru here Sunday evening.

 

Mrs. J. Breese spent Wednesday with her daughter Mrs. Truman Davis.
