Lokken, Seiver (1853? - 10 MAR 1913)

Seiver Lokken, a well-known character about town, died Monday morning at the Forest House as the result of pneumonia, from which he had been suffering since the Thursday before.  The deceased was some 60 years of age, a man of a family, but from whom he had been separated for the past several years.  He was an industrious hard working fellow of quiet ways, and who for the past 18 years had been on the Kemmeter mill payroll as a faithful employee.  The remains were taken to the Aug. Hammler undertaking establishment Monday afternoon.

The funeral was held from there Wednesday, Mr. James Scoles of York conducting the services.  Mr. Kemmeter ordered the mill to be shut down and he and all his employees there attended the funeral.  Interment was made in the family lot in Windfall Cemetery beside the body of his son William.
