Foemmel’s Corners (12 May 1911)

 

Mrs. John Nonhof of Dakota stopped off here from Tuesday a.m. until Wednesday p.m.  She had been on a visit to relatives in Sheboygan and was on her way home.

 

Fred Davis, children and grandchildren met with Frank Davis last Sunday to help celebrate his birthday.

 

Ross Paulson sold a horse to John Duffy last week Friday.

 

We bragged too soon last week about our rain, for it turned into snow, but this week Tuesday it rained hard.

 

Frederick Pietenpol entertained the measles for the first of the week.

 

Mrs. Ross Paulson visited her sister, Mrs. Fradette one day last week.

 

Mr. Lamers of Sheboygan was here Saturday, looking over the cheese factory.

 

Louis Hayden and family are nicely settled in their new home on the W. P. Budge farm.

 

Mr. Wm. Anthony an uncle of Mrs. Effie Davis left last week Friday for a three months visit with relatives in Scotland.

 

Ross Paulson lost a black mare Tuesday morning.  She left a little colt which Truman Davis bought and is bringing up on a bottle.
