The band concert at the Woodman Hall the other night was well attended and was good, dandy, and just fine and all that.  We know all this, because that fellow who don’t know the difference between a brass band and a Chinese funeral said so.

There was preaching at the Lindsey Church Sunday, also at Nasonville.

So the News will have a linotype machine.  We take it that is an invention to transcribe gab from the spoken to the written variety.  If it runs with steam, or electricity, it would be the part of wisdom to employ A. Burdick to keep the thing in order.

The ladies aid of the Nasonville Pres. Met Wednesday with Mrs. C. Muir.  About thirty were present.  They had a good meeting and a dandy supper.
