Sherwood (30 May 1963)

 

The community was grieved to hear of the death of Mrs. Reuben Fields May 22.  The funeral was held from the Granton Funeral Home Saturday afternoon.  A large crowd attended.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Todd and son, and Mr. and Mrs. George Fluegel of Rockford, Ill., came Friday evening to attend the funeral of Mrs. Fields.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Fluegel stayed Friday evening at the Joe Jacobson home.  They were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson.

 

Mrs. Sophie Sparks of Wisconsin Rapids is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz.

 

The Audubon School had its picnic Sunday.

 

The former Mrs. Harry Ayers of Kansasville called on Mrs. Glenn Schwanebeck Saturday morning.  She was enroute to Neillsville to visit.

 

Roy Lawrence has been at the Francis Jacobson home since Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schwanebeck entertained friends and relatives Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Davis’ 62nd wedding anniversary.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Fluegel of Rockford, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gehre of Nekoosa called on Mr. and Mrs. John Fluegel Saturday afternoon.
