Klewicki, Walter (16 APR 1880 - 22 NOV 1958)

 

Funeral services were held for Walter Klewicki, a resident of Thorp Township (Clark Co., Wis.), at St. Mary’s Church in Stanley Tuesday at 9 a.m.

 

The deceased was born in Poland April 16, 1880 and died early Saturday in Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

 

He was the son of George and Josephine Klewicki and came to the United States when 12 years old.  The family settled in Taylor County and later moved to Clark.  He was a farmer until the time of his retirement.

 

In 1907 he married Veronica Zaley in Thorp.  She preceded him in death in 1943.

 

Among the survivors are two sons, Edward of Edgar, Wis., and Bernard of Thorp; four daughters, Mrs. Wanda Milewski, Withee, Mrs. Bernice Krupa, Thorp, Mrs. Julia Myslinski, Thorp, and Mrs. Emily Kozial, Chicago.

 

Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
