Foemmel’s Corners (21 April 1911)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo Glover came Saturday on the 11:10 and stayed until Monday p.m. at the Truman Davis home.

 

Roy Wright, Ed Coil and Milton Huntley are putting in the crops on the King farm.

 

V. W. Davis spent Sunday afternoon with his son Truman.

 

The Roy Lawrence and Harmon Huntley families Sundayed at Geo Huntley’s

 

Dr. Schweinler was called out to Truman Davis’ last week Thursday to see a sick cow and hog. Both are doing nicely.

 

Mrs. Effie Davis and daughter Lila visited at Mrs. John Breese’s last Thursday.

 

Mrs. Sam Martin and children are spending a week with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hayden.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Glover and Mrs. Effie Davis spent Sunday evening at W. J. Davis’.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gibson of Nebraska are visiting the former’s sister Mrs. Geo. Root.

 

Ye pencil pusher received a nice postal, a picture of Joe Lastofka’s new cement block housed. The porches and posts are all cement and make a very pretty picture.
