Mrs. Ed Karlen, Mrs. Vincent Pomietlo and daughters spent Wednesday in Chippewa Falls.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson Sr. spent five days of last week visiting at the Robert Larsen home in Bayfield.

 

Sunday visitors at the Winston Wohld home were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mills, Mrs. Alvin Nitz and children and Mrs. D. May and daughter of Chippewa Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. John Fossum of Holcombe, it being the birthday of Mrs. Fossum.

 

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Anderson at Victory Hospital, Sept. 17th.

 

Mrs. Herbert May and Mrs. Anton Long entertained the Charity Circle at the Long home on Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Karlen were supper guests at the Nels Bye home on Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Winston Wohld and son and Mrs. Olga Corwin spent Thursday in Eau Claire and called at the Mills home in Chippewa Falls.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Anderson attended the Legion Convention at Colfax on Sunday, the drum and bugle corps of Stanley marched in the parade.

 

The Garfield Mothers Club  met at the school on Thursday.  A nice lunch was served by Mrs. John Troz and Mrs. David Erickson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anderson Jr. attended the funeral of her grandmother at Colfax on Monday.
