Mroz, Theresa (28 JUN 1958)

St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church was the scene, Saturday, June 28, 1958 for the exchange of vows between Miss Theresa Mroz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Mroz, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Ralph Javore, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Javore, Sr., Milwaukee.  The Rev. Francis Piekarski officiated.

The bride was attired in a gown of appliqued nylon tulle trimmed with iridescent sequins at the bodice and sweep train.  Her veil cascaded to her fingertips from a Juliet cap of pearls and sequins.  She carried a bouquet of orchids.

Miss Adel Jakowitz, Thorp, was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Ceil Pawelski, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Alice Bishop, Milwaukee, sister of the bride.  They were attired in gowns of flowered sheer styled with scoop neckline and cap sleeves, and detailed with blue taffeta cummerbunds.  Marching Juliet caps and bouquet of red roses completed their ensembles.

The bride’s niece, Nancy Bertram, Milwaukee, was the flower girl.  She wore a gown gsyled like the bridal aides.

Delbert Le Chavaller, Milwaukee, was the best man, with Robert Van Matre, Milwaukee and David Javore, Milwaukee, as groomsmen.   Ushering were Clarence Mroz, Thorp and Carl Frisvold, Milwaukee.

The bride’s mother was dressed in blue organza while the groom’s mother was dressed in beige linen.  Each wore a corsage of red roses.

Wedding day festivities were held in St. Hedwig’s Parish Hall.  After a wedding trip to Canada, the couple will live in Milwaukee.
