York Center (17 March 1911)

 

Farmers in this vicinity are busy making maple syrup.

 

Wm. Benedict made a business trip to Loyal Tuesday.

 

John Vandeberg and daughter Miss Ida returned Monday from Baldwin, Wis., where they have been spending the past week with relatives.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas Campbell who were recently married at Minneapolis are spending a few days with relatives at York Center.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Huntley are rejoicing over the arrival of a 15 pound daughter.

 

Ed Voigt has been looking rather lonesome the past week.  But cheer up Ed, the worst is yet to come.

 

Mrs. Al Turner sold her farm to Wm. Anthony for $400 an acre.

 

Bert Gullick took in the sights at Marshfield the first of the week.

 

Wm. Rowe and son Forest delivered stock to Loyal Monday.

 

Abe Turner is busy carpentering for Frank Greeler at present.

 

A meeting of the cheese patrons of the York Center Factory will be held at the factory Tuesday, March 21, at 2 o’clock p.m.  All cheese patrons especially those who were patrons last year are requested to be present.
