Pieper, Alma (18 JAN 1910 - 19 JAN 1970)

 

Loyal - Mrs. Arnold A. Pieper, 60, route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died unexpectedly of a heart ailment at her home Monday.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church.  The Rev. William Humlie, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery.

 

Friends may call at the Roycraft Funeral Home beginning at noon Wednesday.

 

The former Alma Otto was born Jan. 18, 1910, at Milwaukee.  As a child she moved with her parents to Loyal where she received her education.

 

Her marriage to Arnold Pieper took place in the town of Beaver on Jan. 10, 1928.  Since their marriage the couple lived on a farm in the town of Beaver.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the women’s church group.

 

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Beverly) Olsen, Mrs. James (Delores) Helm, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Rueth and Mrs. David (Karen) Fricke, all of Loyal, and Mrs. James (Marlene) Lauenstein, Milwaukee; a son, Delmar Pieper, Spencer; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Mrs. Orvin (LaVerna) Litka, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Allen (Mavis) Luber, Loyal.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
