Chili (30 December 1910)

 

H. Koser sold an organ lately and also has an order for a piano to be delivered in the near future.

 

Harry Eide received another car of hay this week Wednesday.  He has 4 more on the road.  It goes fast.

 

The program in the M. E. Church Christmas Eve was appreciated by a large crowd.  It was carried out in good shape under the leadership of Mrs. B. Hallock.  The songs given by the mixed choir were very good.

 

The Chili Star Band will give a basket sociable with a social hop to follow, New Years Eve, December 31. Come and see the old year out and the New Year in.

 

Al Snow returned last Friday from South Dakota where he accompanied his daughter and children to his son-in-law’s household.  He shipped some pigs and hogs Tuesday morning.

 

Erwin Brooks was in Chili on business Tuesday.

 

Christmas Day this year was a stormy as a day could be.  Most everybody stayed at home, only a few people ventured out to see their sweethearts.


Lem Waterman came from Minnesota to visit his folks for a while.  He had not been here for 9 years and found many changes.
