Danielewicz, Sandra Lee (13 December 1942 - 3 September 2011)

 

Sandra L. Danielewicz, age 68, of Thorp, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at her home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp.  Rev. Keith Apfelbeck will officiate and interment will be held on Monday, Sept. 12, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.

 

Sandra Lee Laudenschlager was born on December 13, 1942, in Milwaukee, WI to Howard and Lillian (Schilling) Laudenschlager. She attended elementary schools in Milwaukee and Thorp before graduating from Stanley-Boyd high School. After completing her education, Sandy worked as a secretary for Farm Credit Services for 43 years before retiring in 2005.  She was united in marriage to Norman E. Danielewicz on October 20, 1962, at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in Thorp.  In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, and attending her Bible Study group meetings. She was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church and its PCCW.

 

Sandy is survived by her husband, Norman E. of Thorp; three children: Norman M. (Patti) Danielewicz of Thorp, Susan (Darrell Bosman) Streck of Sturgeon Bay, and Stephanie (Randy Schesel) Danielewicz of Thorp; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her mother, Lillian Bielecki of Thorp; one sister, Barbara Isenberger of Eau Claire; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Laudenschlager; and one sister, Linda Lato.
