Rossman, Stena (13 JUNE 1876-07 NOV 1056)
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Stena Rossman, 80, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Myre Funeral Home with The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
 

Death occurred Wednesday morning, November 7, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville, where she had been a patient for a few days. She had been in poor health for several years, the result of a heart ailment.
 

Mrs. Rossman, nee Severson, was born in Norway, June 13, 1876, and came to the Loyal area with her parents when three years of age. She was married to William McPherson in 1893, and in 1900 they left to homestead in Canada.
 

Five years after his death in 1916 she returned to the states.
 

She married W. J. Lyle of Veefkind in 1924& after a short residence there they moved to Loyal. Mr.Lyle died in 1934. In 1940 she married Adolph Rossman, who died in 1950. She was a member of the Loyal Methodist Church.
 

She is survived by two sons, Elwin, and Douglas McPherson, Litchfield, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. William (Vera) Sambrook, Abbotsford, British Colombia, Canada, and Mrs. William (Alice) Redmond, Bassano, Alberta, Canada; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Richeleau, Owen, and Mrs. Frank (Tina) Soules, Los Angeles, California; and several step-children. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
 

The hymns, "It Is Well With My Soul’ and "Beyond the Sunset" were sung by James Colby at the funeral services. Mrs. James Colby was organist.
 

Pallbearers were Kenneth Duell, Roy Thomas, Frank Oestreich, Percy Volk, Ray Prior and Neil Johnson.
 

Those from away who came to the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas McPherson, Litchfield, Illinois; Mrs. Alice McPherson Redmond, Bassano, Alberta, Canada; Miss. Alice McPherson, Evanston, Illinois, Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Sailo, St. Anne, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Chris Richelieu, and Mrs. A. C. Altenburg, Owen;
 

Mrs. Beulah Rouse, Sparta; Mrs. Norma Hillegas, Neenah; Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Rossman, Eau Claire; Mrs. Paul Brandt, Rochester, MInn; & Mrs. Ernst Molle and Mr. and Mrs.Lester Schuette, Unity, and several from Greenwood, Veefkind and other nearby towns.
