Mrs. Wm. Thompson and children returned from their visit at Warrens Thursday.  Mrs. Thompson’s mother, Mrs. Beck, accompanied her here for a short visit.

 

Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Becker and family, and Adolph Biel visited relatives at Nasonville Sunday.

 

Mrs. Frechette and family of Nevins spent Sunday with her sister Mrs. E.F. Brooks.

 

Mrs. R.T. Washburn was calling on friends in Granton Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Herman Riedel is reported to be quite ill, also Mrs. Fred Hankey.

 

Miss Josie Hatzenbuhler left last week for Portage for a short stay.

 

O.W. Becker is doing a rushing business in his creamery for this time of year.

 

Max Opelt and T.F. Feldmair, our general merchants, have a fine line of Christmas goods.  Their confectionary is the finest to he had and be sure and call on them before going elsewhere.

 

Henry Marx transacted business at Marshfield late last week.

 

Raymond Books came home from Marshfield to spend Sunday.

 

Henry Erhardt and Miss Elsie Brooks drove to Marshfield last Friday.  Miss Elsie remained there until Sunday.

 

Mrs. S.G. Hornbeck of Granton has a music class organized and under her musical instructions are as follows: Gertie Martin, Lily Opelt, Hattie Viergutz, Elsie Kurth, Lena Riedel and Eva Lindow.  She makes weekly trips to these places and her scholars are progressing fine.

 

Max Opelt transacted business at Marshfield Monday.

 

Ora Kissey of Valley Jct. is visiting friends here this week.

 

Raymond Hornbeck of Granton was a business caller here this week.
