Foemmel’s Corners (7 October 1910)

Mrs. Heyder had a husking bee one day last week.

Mr. Free is working for John Pietenpol.

Al Nonhof and family spent Sunday afternoon at Webb Winn’s.

Miss Alida Nonhof came Tuesday for an indefinite stay at her brother Al’s.

The John Pietenpol and Truman Davis families were among those who attended the party at J. M. Tompkins’.

Rella Osgood has so far recovered from his recent illness as to be able to walk about the farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Hale Davis were seen on our streets one evening this week.

Mrs. King was here early this week canvassing for the Larkin Club.

The Mesdames Webb Winn and Al Nonhof entertained the Circle ladies and their families from 6 to 8 at the home of the latter.

We would advise the Heathville correspondent to be a little more careful how, he talks about the editor, for although he isn’t a very safe looking Bear he might not care to be poked in the face nor called a liar either.

Truman Davis has eleven little pigs for sale, will be 4 weeks old the 9th.
