Gluch, Amelia (30 NOV 1905)

Yesterday, Thanksgiving Day at 1 o’clock p.m., Mr. Robert Garbush was most thankfully married to Miss Amelia Gluch at the German Lutheran Church, near Garbush’s corner. It was a very impressive ceremony, performed in the presence of a house full of the friends of the contracting parties with Rev. P.H. Hass officiating.  The bridal couple were attended by Willie Duge, Fred Schieber and Richard Garbush, and the Misses Ida Gluch, a sister of the bride, Amelia Duge and Clara Hubing as groomsmen and bridesmaids. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Garbush, an upright and energetic young man who wons a good home here in the town of Grant, where he and his bride will begin housekeeping.  The bride is highly respected daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gluch, an experienced and competent housekeeper, who will be a delightful helpmeet to her young husband.  After the wedding ceremony the guests repaired to the home of the bride’s parent’s where a wedding supper awaited them and where the evening was most happily spent.  These young people were showered with numerous beautiful and costly gifts and start out in their wedded life midst the congratulations and best wishes of their host of friends with whom the News joins.
